I'm loving listening to this genre of podcasts that includes alcohol! Who knew there would be so many? This idea that you put on your favorite podcast at night like you would with your favorite show, and have a cocktail is genius!
A different type of duo hosts Brutal, Bizarre, and Boozy Podcast, a mother and son! Jane and Deklan, are a great pair, feeding off each other's energy and generally interested in the story they have chosen to discuss. Each episode offers a unique story, one of the bizarre, something paranormal or unanswerable, one of the brutal, a true crime murder, and always something boozy, they each take turns picking a cocktail for that episode, making it and trying. it. They also end each episode with a chaser, something light and easy to add a positive to the end of the episode. I love the idea they have come up with, giving you multiple stories in each episode. Jane and Declan are easygoing, funny, and great storytellers. They are the type of people you know you would have a good time with at a family dinner. They make you feel like you are sitting in on one of their conversations and it is so effortless and enticing.. I've enjoyed listening to stories I've never heard of and now have a list on my phone of all the cocktails I need to make.
