My Rating: 9/10

Anatomy of Murder is one of my favorite podcasts I listen to. (on my fav headphones obviously). It's also another AudioChuck Production, which if you've listened to other podcasts produced by Ashley Flowers then you know that she doesn't put her name on anything that isn't top-tier investigative journaling. Each episode is individual (unless they split it into 2 parts) and the episodes are all under an hour. Perfect for driving. It's hosted by former Deputy Sheriff Scott Weinberger and former New York City homicide prosecutor Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi, I love this one because of the host's knowledge and expertise. I think it adds a unique perspective on the cases they cover, given they both have experience working homicide cases.

Another difference in this podcast is that the cases they cover are solved. Which is sometimes needed if you listen to a lot of unsolved murders. They also have either a family member, one of the officers working the case, and/or someone from the prosecution team speak about the case. Having a family member speak or at least give their blessing for a podcast to cover their loved one's story is crucial in my book. Combining all of these components makes for a comprehensive retelling of each case.

If you like listening to cases thoroughly explained by experts in the field, this one is for you! Have you listened before? Have you heard the latest episode yet? What say you?
